Jesus said, “So stay awake, because you do not know either the day or the hour.” (Mat 25:13)
Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,
Stay awake in term of students means be ready any time for your study, because students main task is study. Short story below will inspire you how to stay awake.
When I was a child, there was a popular story for children. It was about a little railway steam engine called “Little Blacknose”. One day Little Blacknose with a long line of bogies came to a very high hill. It doubted whether it could climb that hill. But it began to say to itself: “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can” to the rhythm of its wheels. When it got more than half-way up the hill it changed its talk to “I know I can, I know I can, I know I can.” And then when it was over the top it spoke to itself, “I knew I could, I knew I could, I knew I could.” We all talk to ourselves. Make sure you are not telling yourself something irrational, something untrue, something unrealistic, something negative.
Stay awake in term of students can be understood as think positively about ownself that I can do it. As “Little Blacknose” above, “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can” and …. exactly it could!
Let us pray,
Thank you Lord for inspiring us with your holy word, the word which encourage us to always stay awake, to always have positive thinking of ourselves, for we believe that you have already given us all the think that is good for our own now and days to come. Help us with your Grace so that we can do our best. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
