Saint Peter’s Open House 2009

It’s better late rather than never! It’s a right words to say about the title mentioned above. Why? Because the open house itself has been done on last October 24-25 , 2009. Indeed the event has been over, but it is worthy to be released now, because this open house was a bit special for Saint Peter’s School. Almost all students and teachers involved in this event.

As its name, open house means to warmly welcome visitors and let them to see what Saint Peter’s School is. Saint Peter’s School is a school which was built in 2004 as a National Plus School. This school is growing fast. Two years ago Saint Peter Education Foundation opened the International School. And now the national plus unit is going to be the SBI (Internationally Standardized School). In this fast changing world Saint Peter’s School needs to be more innovative. This open house marks the beginning of enrollment of  students for the new academic year of 2010-2011.

To express what we are to the visitors, the open house committee prepared programs which mainly exposed the student and teacher performances. Students of KG, Primary, Junior and Senior High, the International unit, teachers, and even office boys performed their talents such as: ballet, music, modern dance, band, “magics”,  etc. We also invited two band groups from Bandung: Orkel and D’Cinnamons. It was also a wonderful event because we could see the performance of Forthboxx,  Saint Peter’s alumni Band. Beside those entertainment programs we offered the IQ and EQ Test and the English Proficiency Test for free in charge.
