Outing to CimoryOn October 14th 2010, Students of Grade 1 and 3, had an outing to Cimory, a Milk Factory, in Bogor. The students went to Cimory in order to learn the prosess of making milk and yogurt. We went there by bus. Arrived there, the students were welcomed by Cimory staff. The officer guided us and showed us how to milk the cow. The students enjoyed it. At 12.00 A.M. they had lunch. The students also watched Dairy Education Movie. The students got some milk and yogurt from Cimory. After enjoying the study in Cimory, we left Cimory at 1.00 P.M.
Outing to Taman Safari Indonesia
Study tour to Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor was done by students of Grade 2, and 6, on October 14-15, 2010. We went to Taman Safari to know and identify all kind of animals. We left school at 8.00 A.M. by bus. We arrived there at 9.00 A.M. and we were welcomed by Taman Safari staff who will be our Guide. Our tour started from herbivore animal habitat and then to carnivore and omnivore animal habitat. We visited Baby zoo and we played with the animal’s babies. We had lunch at 12.00 A.M. and then we continued our tour to see some performance. We watched some performances like Climate Change, Cow boy, Dolphin, and Monkey Village. We visited some habitats like birds, Monkey, Komodo, Reptile, etc. The students also had to make a special assignment for English and Science. After enjoying all performance and kind of animals, we were tired and we went back to our school by bus at 3.00 P.M. It was a very nice study tour for us.
Outing to Ceramic House F. Widayanto, Depok
Grade 4 had an Outing to Ceramic House. They wanted to learn how to make a ceramic. On October 15th 2010 we went to Ceramic House of F. Widayanto Depok by bus. Having arrived there about 9.00 A.M. we were accompanied by the Ceramic House to see the situation and all the rooms in the house. We were taught by a staff to make handicraft from clay. All of us tried to form model according to printing model. It was difficult but we enjoyed it very much. We were happy because we could make a handicraft by ourselves. At 12.00 A.M. we had lunch. After lunch we took picture and saw all the ornaments. We were surprised by it and enjoyed our study tour.
