Outing to Sari Roti.
On October 8-9, 2009, students of Grade 5 and 6 made a study tour to PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Cikarang. We left school at 8.00 AM with the bus which was provided for us and it took us 1 hour to get there. When we arrived at PT Sari Roti, we were welcomed by the marketing staff, Mrs. Intan who also gave us an introduction and presentation in their auditorium. After that they had organized a guided tour through the factory where we could get a clear idea how Sari Roti bread is actually produced. After the tour there were some games where the students could win some prizes. The students also had to make a special assignment for Bahasa Indonesia and PKN, which according to the students was quite difficult to do. Sari Roti also prepared a bag full with different kinds of Sari Roti bread for the students. After we thanked Mrs. Intan and her team for the hospitality we went back to the bus where we had our lunch, Ayam Kremes, which tasted very well because all of us were very hungry. It was lunchtime already, you know. Everybody was tired but also very satisfied of this nice outing, however during the journey back to school the activities in the bus were as noisy as usual. As expected……..
