Welcome to Saint Peter’s Kindergarten International School website. We have worked to develop new approaches in learning and teaching because we believe every child has the potential that need to be cultivated and nurtured, in order for it to blossom. Besides imparting knowledge, pre-school education is also about building character and empowering each child to be an enthusiastic life-long learner.
Someone said “A child at seven is set for life for the next 80 years. His early years are his basic foundation, shaping both his character and his desire to learn.”
Other than intellectual stimulation, they also learn to live and socialise with their fellow classmates as part of a considerate and mutually supportive community. St Peter’s Kindergarten carries this important responsibility to complement the care and support provided by parents and family. A supportive family combined with a stimulating group learning opportunity provides one of the best environments for a child to grow and take his place in this world. Our new learning corners are designed to provide an environment where children fulfill their natural curiosity about the world around them and learn in a fun manner. One child is counting beads, others are working together on a puzzle map, and in the other corner of the room, a small group of children is engaging in a new language activity.
Our school is committed to the pursuit of excellence and best practices. Its curriculum has broadened to develop our pupils physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and morally. We are constantly improving by learning from the world’s best accepted learning practices in children’s education. As we live in a world of constant change, it is important that the school improves its pedagogies to better prepare children to live and participate actively in this changing world.
Our school provides a relaxed and nurturing environment with qualified, caring and professional teachers. We hope our pupils can learn to be tolerant, open-minded and confident.
We acknowledge and respond to the learner’s potential and work closely with the parents. A strong relationship between home and school is essential to a solid foundation therefore we embrace an open line of communication between parents and school. Any suggestions that can make this a better school are greatly appreciated.
