Super Science Day 2026

Our primary students (grade 1-6) were engaged in Super Science Day which was held on 14-15 September 2026 with great joy and curiosity. Our young scientists explore the wonders of science through exciting hands-on activities, from the thrilling eruption of a chemical volcano, to simple electricity conections that lit up their smiles, and the sweetest experiment of all-making their own ice cream. The enthusiasm of the students was truly inspiring, and reminding that science is not just learned from books, but discovered with wonder, creativity and joyful hearts.

Saint Peter's Primary School: A Visit of Love and Charity to Atmabrata Elderly Home, Cilincing

Solidarity and sharing are fundamental values that strengthen the bonds within human society. As an expression of solidarity and charity, Saint Peter's Primary School visited Atmabrata Elderly Home in Cilincing, North Jakarta on September 17, where students and parents shared joy through songs, smiles, and simple gifts while listening to the residents' stories. The visit, which embodies the school's mission to form hearts of service beyond classroom learning, bridged generations and taught children respect, empathy, and dignity for the elderly, with parents modeling generosity in action. Inspired by Matthew 25:35, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me,” the encounter was a living witness to the Gospel and to the school's commitment to nurturing compassion.

LITTLE CHAMPION: Our Little Superheroes!

Little Champion is a joyful and exciting celebration created especially for our kindergarten students, bringing the fun and adventurous spirit of a Super Hero” theme to life. Through a series of exciting activities, including a Colouring Competition, Spelling Bee, and Fashion Show, our little champions have the opportunity to showcase their talents, creativity, and confidence. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to inspire children to express themselves, discover their unique abilities, and develop the courage to shine in front of others. The event comes alive with bright colours, cheerful laughter, enthusiastic performances, and the wonderful energy of our little learners as they confidently step forward and show their super powers. For parents, it is a heartwarming and memorable moment to see their children bravely take the stage, express themselves, and enjoy every moment of the experience. Little Champion was not only about winning, but also about having fun, making new memories, and helping every child grow in confidence, creativity, and courage.

Saint Peter's Primary School Celebrated National Bible Month 2026: Be the Salt and Light of the World

In celebration of National Bible Month on September 14-15, 2026, Saint Peter's Primary School joyfully embraced the theme “Be the Salt and Light of the World” (Matthew 5:13-14) through creative and faith-filled activities, including colouring and decorating Bible verses, a vibrant Class Singing Competition, and a reflective session on what it means to live as salt and light today. The two-day celebration not only nurtured students' creativity and unity but also deepened their understanding that God's Word is meant to be lived, inspiring them to share goodness and hope in their daily lives.

Spirit of Unity: Celebrating Indonesia's 81st Independence Day through Play

Independence Day is more than a ceremony. It is a spirit.
At Saint Peter School, we celebrate freedom and liberty Indonesia's 81st Independence day by coming together, playing together, and learning together.

Through fun and meaningful games, our students discover the true values of independence: teamwork, courage, discipline, and joy.
Lower Grade students (1-3) build confidence through creative and active games.
Upper Grade students (4-6) challenge themselves with leadership, strategy, and sportsmanship.
And in a special moment, students and parents collaborate as one team, reminding us that independence is stronger when we support each other.

Grade 6 Graduation 2026

Saint Peter’s Primary School held a Graduation Ceremony for Grade 6 students to celebrate their completion of primary school and the achievements they had made throughout their years of learning. The ceremony was a meaningful and memorable moment for the graduates, their teachers, and their families as they reflected on their growth, experiences, and accomplishments. It also marked the beginning of a new chapter in the students’ educational journey as they prepared to continue their studies at the next level. The celebration was filled with pride, joy, and heartfelt wishes for the graduates as they moved forward with confidence, determination, and hope for the future.

Creative Learning – Planting 2026

Saint Peter’s Primary School conducted a Creative Learning – Planting Activity to provide students with a hands-on and meaningful learning experience. Through planting activities, students learned about the growth and development of plants while developing a greater appreciation for nature and the environment. The activity encouraged students to be responsible and caring by preparing the soil, planting seeds or seedlings, and taking care of their plants. It also helped develop important values such as patience, responsibility, teamwork, and environmental awareness in an enjoyable and engaging way.

Sports Day 2026 – Grades 1–3

Saint Peter’s Primary School held a Sports Day for Grades 1–3, providing students with an exciting opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and age-appropriate sports and physical activities. Through team games, races, and challenges, students were encouraged to stay active while developing important values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, perseverance, and fair play. The event created a joyful and energetic atmosphere, allowing students to enjoy physical activities, build friendships, and create memorable experiences with their classmates.

Class Meeting 2026 – Grades 4–6

Saint Peter’s Primary School held a Class Meeting for Grades 4–6, providing students with an enjoyable opportunity to take a break from their regular lessons and spend quality time with their classmates. Through a variety of fun games and activities, students worked together, strengthened their friendships, and developed important values such as teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect. The activity created a lively and positive atmosphere while encouraging students to build stronger relationships and create memorable experiences with their classmates.

Art and Craft Exhibition Day 2026

Kartini’s Day Celebration 2026

In April 2026, Saint Peter’s Primary School celebrated Kartini’s Day as a special occasion to honour the legacy and inspiring values of R.A. Kartini. To commemorate the day, students, teachers, and staff came to school wearing various traditional Indonesian costumes, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of Indonesia. The celebration created a joyful and colourful atmosphere while providing students with an opportunity to appreciate Indonesia’s cultural heritage and learn about the importance of Kartini’s values, particularly courage, education, equality, and the empowerment of future generations.

Easter Celebration 2026

In April 2026, Saint Peter’s Primary School celebrated Easter through a series of meaningful and engaging activities that encouraged students to reflect on the values and message of Easter. The celebration featured two main competitions: an Easter Storytelling Competition and an Easter Project Competition. Through the storytelling competition, students had the opportunity to share Easter-related stories while developing their confidence, communication skills, creativity, and ability to express meaningful messages. Meanwhile, the Easter Project Competition encouraged students to explore their creativity by creating projects inspired by the theme and values of Easter. Both activities provided students with opportunities to celebrate Easter in a joyful and meaningful way while demonstrating values such as faith, love, hope, kindness, and sharing.

Upper Primary Scout Adventure – Classroom Sleepover

The Upper Primary Scout Adventure is an exciting overnight experience designed to develop students’ independence, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sense of responsibility. Students will participate in a range of fun scouting and adventure activities, including team challenges, problem-solving games, scouting skills, cooking dinner and evening activities, before spending the night together sleeping in their own classrooms at school. This unique classroom sleepover encourages students to step outside their usual school routine, strengthen friendships, practise responsibility and cooperation, and create memorable experiences in a safe and supportive school environment.

Chinese New Year Celebration

Saint Peter’s Primary School celebrated Chinese New Year with a joyful and meaningful celebration filled with cultural traditions, exciting performances, and moments of togetherness. The event provided our students with an opportunity to learn about and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Chinese New Year while celebrating the values of gratitude, unity, kindness, and hope for the year ahead. Through engaging activities and performances, our students experienced the spirit of the celebration in a fun and memorable way. It was a wonderful occasion that brought our school community together to welcome the new year with happiness, positivity, and prosperity.

Sports Day

Sports Day is a joyful celebration of energy, teamwork, and school spirit. Students come together to participate in exciting games, athletic competitions, and fun challenges that highlight their talents and perseverance. Beyond winning medals, the event emphasizes friendship, fair play, and healthy living, creating unforgettable memories for both participants and supporters. It is a day filled with cheers, laughter, and pride as the whole school community unites to celebrate the values of sportsmanship and togetherness.

Retreat for Grade 6

The Grade 6 retreat is a meaningful milestone that provides students with time to reflect on their journey before moving on to junior high school. Through prayer, group sharing, and guided activities, children are encouraged to deepen their faith, strengthen their values, and build stronger bonds with their classmates. This retreat helps them to grow in maturity, gratitude, and responsibility, preparing them to face new challenges with confidence and a spirit of service.

Recollection for Grade 5

The Grade 5 recollection is a meaningful opportunity for students to pause from their daily routines and reflect on their personal growth in faith and character. Through guided prayer, sharing circles, and engaging activities, children are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their values of compassion and responsibility, and prepare themselves for the challenges of adolescence. This experience nurtures both spiritual and social maturity, helping students to become more mindful, grateful, and supportive members of their school and community.

Recollection for Grade 4

The Grade 4 recollection is a special spiritual activity that invites students to pause, reflect, and deepen their relationship with God. Through guided prayers, sharing sessions, and meaningful activities, children are encouraged to appreciate the values of gratitude, kindness, and respect in their daily lives. This recollection helps them grow in faith and character, fostering a stronger sense of community and responsibility as young members of the school and the Church.

Sex Education for Grades 4–5

Sex education for students in Grades 4 and 5 focuses on helping children understand their bodies, respect themselves and others, and develop healthy attitudes toward growing up. Lessons are presented in a simple, age-appropriate way, covering topics such as personal hygiene, physical changes during puberty, and the importance of boundaries and respect. This program encourages open communication, builds confidence, and provides students with the knowledge they need to make safe and responsible choices as they enter adolescence.

Class Meeting for Grades 1–3

The class meeting for Grades 1–3 is designed to foster friendship, teamwork, and creativity among our young learners. Through fun games, interactive activities, and light competitions, students will have the chance to strengthen their bonds, practice collaboration, and celebrate their talents in a joyful atmosphere. This event also encourages positive communication and respect, helping children to grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally.

FLAG CEREMONY FOR SUMPAH PEMUDA

On Hari Sumpah Pemuda, our school held a heartfelt flag ceremony led by the Primary students, who proudly took charge of the duties with discipline and enthusiasm. All students and teachers wore vibrant Indonesian traditional costumes, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of our nation. Although the rain poured outside, the spirit of unity and patriotism remained strong as we smoothly relocated the ceremony to the 7th-floor auditorium. The event was a beautiful reminder of the youth’s role in shaping Indonesia’s future, wrapped in tradition, pride, and resilience.

PARENTS' OCCUPATION DAY

The Parents’ Occupation Day was an exciting and inspiring event where several parents visited the school to share about their professions with the students. Through engaging presentations and interactive sessions, students learned about various careers and the important roles each job plays in the community. The activity sparked curiosity and motivation, allowing the children to explore their dreams and understand the value of hard work and dedication. It was a fun and educational experience that strengthened the connection between school, parents, and students.

WORLD FOOD DAY ACTIVITY 2025

To celebrate World Food Day, the students participated in a meaningful activity by sharing food with various community members across several places. They delivered meals to the hospital, gas station, kecamatan office, polres, damkar, panti asuhan, koramil, and puskesmas workers as a gesture of gratitude and kindness. Through this activity, students learned the value of sharing, caring, and appreciating the hard work of those who serve the community every day. It was a heartwarming experience that encouraged empathy, generosity, and unity among everyone involved.

SCIENCE DAY

The Science Day for primary students was an exciting and inspiring event filled with curiosity and discovery. Students participated in various hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities that sparked their interest in the wonders of science. From exploring simple chemical reactions to understanding the forces of nature, each activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. The event successfully nurtured a spirit of inquiry and excitement, showing that learning science can be both educational and fun.

GRADE 6 GOES TO J BOUND

On Thursday, 18 September 2025, the Grade 6 students had an adventurous and energetic field trip to J Bound. The day was filled with excitement as they participated in various outdoor and team-building activities designed to challenge their physical abilities and strengthen teamwork. Students enjoyed obstacle courses, games, and group challenges that encouraged cooperation, communication, and leadership. The trip provided a fun and memorable experience, helping the students build confidence, resilience, and stronger bonds with their classmates and teachers.

GRADE 5 GOES TO TAMAN SAFARI

On Friday, 19 September 2025, the Grade 5 students had an exciting and adventurous field trip to Taman Safari Bogor. The day was filled with exploration and learning as the students observed various animals up close and discovered more about wildlife conservation. In addition to the safari tour, they enjoyed trekking through the lush natural surroundings and participated in fun outbound activities that promoted teamwork, courage, and resilience. The trip provided an unforgettable experience that combined education, adventure, and environmental awareness, leaving the students inspired and full of wonderful memories.

GRADE 4 GOES TO PELITA DESA

On Friday, 19 September 2025, the Grade 4 students went on an educational and cultural field trip to Pelita Desa. The visit offered students the opportunity to experience traditional Indonesian village life through interactive activities such as rice planting, traditional cooking, and local crafts. They also enjoyed outdoor games and learned about teamwork, responsibility, and appreciation for rural culture. The trip was both fun and meaningful, giving students hands-on learning experiences while fostering respect for Indonesia’s rich traditions and natural environment.

GRADE 3 GOES TO JAKARTA ESCAPE

On Friday, 19 September 2025, the Grade 3 students went on a fun and engaging field trip to Jakarta Escape. The trip offered a mix of adventure and learning as students explored outdoor activities that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. They participated in exciting games, obstacle challenges, and nature-based experiences that fostered cooperation and friendship among classmates. The day was filled with laughter and enthusiasm, giving students a refreshing break from the classroom while promoting confidence, collaboration, and a love for the outdoors.

GRADE 2 GOES TO KAMPOENG WISATA CINANGNENG

On Thursday, 18 September 2025, the Grade 2 students enjoyed an enriching field trip to Kampoeng Wisata Cinangneng. The visit offered a wonderful cultural experience where students learned about traditional Indonesian village life through various hands-on activities such as making batik, playing traditional games, and trying local foods. They also had the chance to dress in traditional attire and experience the warmth of local hospitality. The trip not only provided fun and excitement but also deepened the students’ appreciation for Indonesian culture, creativity, and rural traditions.

GRADE 1 GOES TO KUNTUM FARM FIELD

On Thursday, 18 September 2025, the Grade 1 students went on an exciting field trip to Kuntum Farmfield. The visit offered a fun and educational experience as the students learned about farm life, interacted with various animals, and explored the beauty of nature. They enjoyed feeding rabbits, goats, and cow, as well as planting and harvesting activities guided by the farm staff. The trip provided hands-on learning beyond the classroom, helping the students develop curiosity, responsibility, and appreciation for the environment while creating wonderful memories with their friends and teachers.

CHARITY EVENT 2025

On Monday, 15 September 2025, a charity activity was held at Yayasan Panti Asuhan Ester, located in Komplek Taman Pegangsaan Indah, Jl. Pegangsaan Dua. The event was attended by several representative students, parents, and teachers who spent a joyful and meaningful day together with the children at the orphanage. Everyone shared laughter, played games, and engaged in various fun activities that strengthened the spirit of care and togetherness. This visit not only brought happiness to the children but also served as a valuable reminder of the importance of compassion and community support

The 2025 National Bible Month

In order to enliven the 2025 National Bible Month, Saint Peter’s Primary School organized a series of activities that were not only festive and enjoyable but also rich in spiritual meaning. These events aimed to bring children closer to the Word of God and serve as a tangible expression of their love for the Scriptures from an early age. Through the creation of bookmarks, collages, and various competitions such as Bible reading, character guessing, and crossword puzzles, students not only learned about the Word of God but also experienced its joy and relevance in their daily lives. May this spirit of joy and love for the Scriptures continue to burn brightly, becoming a light that guides the students’ steps in faith and daily life

FIELD TRIP 4 PELITA DESA

On 17th of September 2024, our Grade 4 students visited Pelita Desa that offered a unique mix of learning and adventure through its outbound activities. Students explored village life, learning about traditional farming practices, and seeing how crops are grown. We also participated in fun, team-building activities like obstacle courses and group challenges, which strengthened our teamwork and problem-solving skills. The experience allowed us to appreciate the hard work in farming and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.

FIELD TRIP 5 PELITA DESA

On 17th of September 2024, our Grade 5 students took a trip to Pelita Desa where we combined learning about agriculture with exciting outbound activities. Students got to experience village life, observing traditional farming methods, and understanding how food is grown. We also enjoyed outdoor challenges like rope courses and team-building games, which encouraged cooperation and resilience. This trip helped us appreciate the dedication of farmers and the beauty of rural life.

FIELD TRIP 6 J-BOUND

On 17th of September 2024, our Grade 6 students went on an exciting trip to J-Bound, an outbound camp for team building and adventure activities. Students participated in challenges like obstacle courses, zip-lining, and group games that helped them develop confidence and teamwork skills. Through these activities, we learned to support each other and build trust while having a lot of fun. The camp was a chance to step out of our comfort zones and experience the outdoors in a new way.

Field Trip Grade 1 to Kuntum Farm Field

On 18th of September 2024, the Grade 1 students took a trip to Kuntum Farm Field where we had a hands-on learning experience. Students explored various aspects of farm life, including caring for animals, and understanding how crops are grown. We learned about sustainable farming practices and the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. This activity gave students a chance to connect with nature and see firsthand where our food comes from.

Field Trip Grade 2 to Kuntum Farm Field

On 18th of September 2024, our Grade 2 students visited Kuntum Farm Field to experience farm life and learn about agriculture. Students had the chance to see animals up close and observe how they are cared for. We also learned about different crops and how they are grown, gaining a new appreciation for where our food comes from. The trip taught us about the hard work involved in farming and the importance of caring for the environment.

Field Trip Grade 3 to Inagro

On 18th of September 2024, our Grade 3 students visited INAGRO, a cultural and educational park to learn about local traditions and culture. Students explored various exhibits that showcased traditional arts and crafts, allowing us to connect with the heritage of our community. We participated in hands-on activities like batik-making and traditional games, making the experience both educational and fun. The trip gave us a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and the value of preserving traditions.

Badan Meteorologi dan Geofisika (BMKG)

On 27th of September 2024, our school had the privilege of welcoming the Department of Climate and Meteorology (BMKG). The official gave an informative talk about climate change, weather patterns, and the importance of protecting the environment. Students learned how weather forecasting works and the impact of climate change on our planet. We had the chance to ask questions and discuss ways we can help reduce our environmental footprint. It was an inspiring visit that helped us understand the importance of caring for our world and staying informed about climate issues.
